Armed Security Guard Training
Armed Guard Card Classes – $75.00

This course certifies individuals to carry firearms as an armed security guard upon successful completion. During the class, students will learn the proper escalation and de-escalation of force and when the use of deadly physical force is legally justified.
Course Requirements:
Written Test: A minimum score of 70% is required to pass.
Shooting Proficiency: Students must fire a 50-round qualification and achieve a score of at least 70%.
Ammunition: A minimum of 200 rounds will be used during the course (range fees: $25.00).
Important Information:
Weapons & Equipment: Students must bring a standard duty-type revolver or semi-automatic pistol, holster, and at least two magazines or speed loaders. Rentals may be available.
Ammunition & Range Fees: Not included in the course cost.
Skill Level Requirement:
This course does not teach how to shoot. Students must already be somewhat proficient with a firearm. We will provide basic instructions, but it is expected that participants have prior experience with handling and shooting a firearm.
Day 1 (Online):
Complete the first portion of the course online. The online section is on-demand, so you can start, stop, and resume at your convenience. Ensure that you complete the online portion before attending the in-person range day. You cannot register for a range day until the online portion is completed.
Day 2 (Range Day):
The second day is held in person at the range (typically Ben Avery Shooting Range). Range time is limited, so be sure to complete the online portion so you can register. The next available range day is February 03, 2026 8 AM – 4 PM.
Finally, there are 25-50% cancellations and reschedules, so there are opportunities to get in earlier range days, call 602-863-1022 ext 2 ask for Donald.
Rescheduling & Cancellation Policy:
Reschedule Fee: If you cannot attend your scheduled range day, you must notify us by 5 PM the day before to avoid a $25 rescheduling fee.
Limit on Reschedules: Beginning January 1, 2024, only two reschedules per student will be allowed due to frequent cancellations and reschedules affecting other students’ opportunities.

REFUND POLICY: If you can’t make it to your assigned class we will reschedule you for the next available class. If you miss the rescheduled class you will not be eligible for a second reschedule. You will have to pay full price. No refunds without a 48 hour notice. No refunds once any online class is accessed. Live Tech support is only available Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm.
