Complete the eight-hour Arizona course online on demand or in person at the Glendale classroom.
The unarmed guard card class is an eight-hour online or in-person training session. After completing the course, students have the foundational knowledge needed to pursue an Arizona Unarmed Guard Card. The same class also satisfies the bi-yearly training requirement for a renewal license.
The online course is available on demand, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and students can start and stop as needed. An in-person classroom-only option is also available.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety charges a $72 fee to complete the background check and issue the guard card. Applicants also need to submit fingerprints and two passport photos to DPS.

Refund policy: If you cannot attend your assigned class, Arizona Guard Cards will reschedule you for the next available class. If you miss the rescheduled class, you are not eligible for a second reschedule and must pay full price. No refunds are available without 48 hours' notice, and no refunds are available once any online class is accessed.
